The First Harvest
Today, the 1st of August, marks the start of the Harvest season. Here in Kent, we are already starting to see the first signs of summer’s end - ripened blackberries...
Current Position: Machine Knitter (Experienced) // Freelance
Location: Northdown Studios, Cliftonville, Margate, Kent UK
Flexible working hours: Between 5-10 hours a week with the option to work a some hours remotely. This position could suit a Parent who would need to finish at 3pm or a Creative who would like to fit these hours around their own studio time.
Rate: £12/h (once the knitting time has been established you will be paid per piece)
Start Date: September
The applicant must be an experienced machine knitter. We work on an electronic Brother KH 970 Domestic here in the studio, and a manual chunky gauge. We also have the assistance of a motor.
The applicant will be knitting existing styles as well as developing and sampling new designs.
